These some of the videos of the presenters at TEDxPenticton 2014.
In many ways, these are snapshots into the psyche of Okanagan culture and serve as a library on our views on everything from women's and First Nation's issues to reflections on cannabis.
Curating TEDxPenticton is a challenge as it is an art and a science. You are trying to challenge the attendees and entertain them as well.
We invite you to enjoy these talks either at random or systematically going through each presentation and TED talk in order to get the maximum effect of the curation of this process.

The Sweet Cherry
In an increasingly competitive fresh cherry market, buyers are looking, above all, for consistent, reliable quality.
That means growers must be able to deliver the same quality day after day so that buyers develop a trust and come back for more. Quality fruit has a low incidence of defects, such as pebbling, pitting, stem browning, shrivel, decay, and softening, and is not infested by insects. Above all, the cherries must be firm.
